Volunteer Information

Masterman School needs parents and guardians with security clearances to volunteer at the school during the school day during the 2016-2017 year to help the school run smoothly despite reduced staffing created by the district’s ongoing public school funding crisis.

Please consider getting your security clearances to volunteer. The 2016-2017 Masterman School Volunteer schedule, for parents/guardians with security clearances, is posted on at http://signup.com/go/Qfgb82 on SignUp.com (formerly VolunteerSpot.).

See these Security Clearance FAQshttp://bit.ly/1LEoWqR ) for more info and links to clearance applications. Volunteers must place their security clearance with Masterman's front office BEFORE they volunteer.  The criminal history and child abuse history clearances are now free for school volunteers.

Volunteering is your opportunity to help Masterman School run well, AND watch your students in action - whether in the morning before school, or during a lunch / recess session.  Parent/guardian volunteers helping in the early morning -- to watch students gathering on the patio, in the auditorium or in the cafeteria -- free Principal Brown and other administrative staff to prepare the school for the day. Volunteers helping during a lunch period put more adult eyes on the roof -- allowing our students a fuller use of the roof-top play area during their lunch/recess.

Once you get your security clearances, signing up to volunteer at Masterman School is very easy. Here's how it works in 3 steps:

    1) Go to this link to see the Volunteer at Masterman School SignUp on SignUp.comhttp://signup.com/go/Qfgb82

    2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.

    3) Sign up! It's Easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com.
