Where can I get a School Directory?

Every family gets a complete phone directory of student contacts in late ONovember. Make sure your info is current and remember that this essential booklet is confidential, and free. Advertising sales help defray the printing costs and are an effective means to reach a large, targeted audience.

How can I advertise in the School Directory?

Full page – maximum size 6" wide X 7 ¾" high - $500.00

Half page – maximum size 6" wide X 3 ¾" high - $250.00

Quarter page – maximum size 2 ¾" wide X 3 ¾" high - $100.00

Business card – maximum size 3 ½" wide/high X 2" high/wide - $60.00

Can I go to the Executive Board Meetings if I am not a Committee Chair?

Absolutely- most meetings are held in the Free Library Children's Reading Room, Lower Level. Check the website often for updates and meeting agenda and minutes.

How can I volunteer if I have no time to spare?

Just keep in touch- share your news and take a few minutes to email the news link.

How much are membership dues and what do they support?

Basic dues are $5.00, and all monies directly support MAsterman School programs for our children. Masterman has 501c(3) status and your donations are tax deductible. Be sure to turn your Membership Form and check into your child's advisory or Main Office- all homerooms with 90% sign-up receive $50 for classroom materials. Those with 100% also enjoy a pizza party! The School District provides $60 per pupil for books and supplies- without parental dues and additional parental donations we cannot provide our children with up-to-date maps, books, gym equipment, science and computer equipment that they deserve. Join now and give generously.

What are High School "OPTIONS" and MG Workshops?

The MG department offers a wide assortment of workshops to enhance curriculum, be sure to check the catalog or contact Ms. Parker or Ms. Duffy.

What must I do if my child is going to be late or absent from school?

New this year: parents are REQUIRED to call school 215 299-4661 between 7:30 and 8:30am to report student absence or lateness to school.

How do I know if school is cancelled for snow?

Listen to KYW1060 News for "All Public and Parochial Schools" or check the KYW School closing website.

What is the official school dress code policy?

Students must wear solid tops of any color, preferably blue or white. Printing on clothing must be smaller than 3". School logo wear is acceptable and encouraged. Pants and shorts must be solid color and worn to the waist. Shorts and skirts should be within 5" of knee. NO exposed underwear, bellies, backs. shoulders, flip-flops, beach shoes,. Outer clothing must be stored in locker.
