More Volunteers Needed at Masterman for the weeks of Aug. 18 and Aug. 28.

posted Aug 16, 2014, 7:17 AM by David Ortiz

Calling all Masterman students and parents: Masterman needs you! Student and parent volunteers are needed during the last two months of August to help Masterman get ready for the opening of school: answering phones, straightening up the front office and tackling any other projects the school needs.

Please sign up here using our online volunteer scheduling tool, VolunteerSpot ASAP!  Currently, the schedule offers multiple shifts for summer volunteers from 8am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday during the weeks of Aug. 18 and Aug. 25.

Props to the parents and students who already volunteered. More volunteers are very much needed. The ongoing district school budget crisis has greatly reduced the amount of time Masterman’s school administration and staff has to prepare—any time you can give to help the school and its staff will help smooth the way for school’s opening.

Be prepared to be put to work! Masterman’s new principal, Jessica Brown, and Assistant Principal Michelle Harrison will organize the crews of volunteers.

The parent/guardian volunteer schedule for the school year has yet to be posted, but will be shortly.  During the school year, adult volunteers must have their security clearances. See http://bit.ly/17C6tET for our FAQs about Security Clearances.

If you don't have your clearances, go to this document for instructions about how to get them: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1i17FhTmMHQrddmvEJ8KlogGgIzIw2w6z33KahEbARKQ/edit?usp=sharing
