Sixth graders working to save the red pandas!

posted Nov 8, 2015, 5:54 PM by David Ortiz

This year, 6-2, Ms. Celli’s Class, is working to save this endangered species. They are participating in The Philadelphia Zoo’s Unless Campaign.

The red pandas are in danger of dying out because of climate change and loss of habitat caused by deforestation. Each year in the U.S., junk mail stretches halfway to the moon.  Also, according to https://www.41pounds.org/impact/, “$320 million of local taxes are used to dispose of junk mail each year.”  If this does not stop soon then the red panda will be wiped off our planet.  You can help by going to this link: http://www.philadelphiazoo.org/Save-Wildlife/UNLESS-Campaign/UNLESS-Project/Stop-Your-Junk-Mail.htm.  Please note put us down as Masterman Celli.

Our website is unlessredpandas.weebly.com.
