Volunteering at Masterman: A Look at the Numbers.

posted Oct 25, 2015, 5:37 PM by David Ortiz
This year Masterman School has had more parents stepping up to get their security clearances, which is great and amazing, and the school is hoping more parents with clearances can volunteer at the school during the school day.

A look at the year's volunteer stats shows that a faithful, fantastic corps of parents/guardians are carrying the load, volunteering at the school during the school day to help staff and administrators cope with the reduced staffing levels brought on by the district's ongoing funding shortages:
  • 6 parents covered 14 volunteer spots during the past 5 school days
  • 19 parents volunteered during the last month -- many taking multiple shifts during that period
  • A total of 23 parents have volunteered at Masterman since the start of school.

More help is needed! If you already have your security clearances, and can give some time, check out the volunteer schedule at http://vols.pt/RNeZ1u and sign up using Masterman's online scheduling and reminder tool on VolunteerSpot.

If you are interested in getting your clearances, check out our FAQs on security clearances to find out what clearances you need and how to get them. The FAQs can be found at: http://bit.ly/1LEoWqR
