School District Calling Parents Volunteers

Sub-Committee Meetings: The School District of Philadelphia is creating a new operating model to address financial concerns and realign operations to the needs of students, families and schools. To that effect the District has created seven sub-committees responsible for developing a proposal for reorganizing the District’s operations. Parents are needed not only to attend the committee meetings but also complete some reading, analysis and writing to finalize the proposals. Registration is required, if interested please call 215-400-4000 or to attend. All meeting will be held at the Education Center, 440 N Broad Street. Upcoming dates and topics are as follows:

  March 16th -
  • Reorganization of Principals at 11AM
  March 20th -
  • Performance Management at 7:30AM
  • Academic Support Services at 1PM
  • School Autonomy  3:30PM
  March 21st -
  • Curriculum Development at 9AM
  • Talent and Professional Development at 11AM
  • Accountability, Equity, and Compliance at 3PM
