Screening of Race to Nowhere (January 5th)

Dear Parents,

The Masterman School invites you to join us for an unforgettable evening.  On Thursday, January 5, 2012 we are hosting a screening of the educational documentary "Race To Nowhere." The film highlights the academic pressures facing our students:

"School is so much pressure that every day I would wake up dreading it."

"I couldn't cope. I almost had an emotional breakdown."

"They expect us to be superheroes."

"The pressures come from the colleges, the parents, the government, but it has to stop."

How can we support our children? What does it take to produce a happy, motivated, creative human being?   Please join us for a film and facilitated conversations. Together we can change the dialogue about education.

All are welcome!
