Our Purpose
In accordance with our Bylaws (section 5), the Masterman HSA seeks to:

Promote Cooperation We promote cooperation between home, the school, and the community.

Provide a Forum We provide a forum for parents to become involved and have a voice in matters relating to the administration and conduct of the school and school-related affairs.

Coordinate Efforts We coordinate efforts of teachers, administration, and parents for the growth, education, and development of children.

Raise Funds We raise funds to further the goals of the school as determined by this corporation.

Community Engagement

HSA Membership is open to all parents and guardians.
Monthly HSA board meetings are open to all parents and guardians. The HSA welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with our school leadership and our meetings are open to all teachers and staff. Consistent with the policy of the School District of Philadelphia, the HSA will be intentional about creating a space of inclusion and belonging for all races, ethnic groups, social classes, genders, religions, disabilities, sexual orientations (perceived or known) and gender identities (perceived or known). |
